AmLactin uses a pH-balanced form of Lactic Acid, which is why this scent might be unique compared to other products containing Lactic Acid. Yes it has a smell that lingers a bit but dang does this work amazing for my skin. It truly makes me soft I use from chest to my feet and helps with callous. Somewhat sticky for a little bit but the formula is perfect for every day use and sensitive skin.
