I was so excited to see the new box, thinking it came with extra cheese powder, but the new recipe is so disappointing! Far less cheese flavor, very watery, and just doesn't taste good. This has been my favorite mac and cheese for over 20 years, and I am so sad it is now ruined!

CORNSTARCH????? TO REPLACE BUTTER???? ARE YOU MAD????? The new “now cheesier” recipe is not only less cheesy, but actually inedible. Even adding butter to the mac myself couldn’t fix it. This stuff is NASTY!!! I’ve been buying and eating annie’s mac & cheese for 20 years and I will not buy another box until they revert to the old recipe. I already regret buying 2 of the new one because the first box was so bad I thought it was a fluke.

Shells and white cheddar used to be hands down my favorite food. Since the recipe replaced butter and nonfat milk with “cornstarch and whey” I am disappointed and heartbroken every time I taste it. I thought Annie’s was about more than just the bottom line. If they care about having good products and the happiness of their customers they would return to their original amazing recipe.
