Great size - I know I will be buying another, there’s no way my niece isn’t going to want one now.

This is a large sturdy comb that works well. I use it in the shower to easily get out tangles.

WHOA this comb is enormous! It's actually too big and awkward for me to handle easily. So, it's pretty useless. ARRRRRGH I don't even know if the dimensions were part of the description because it seemed to me that it would be the same size as the other wide toothed wet combs I've had. Not Even Close!

It truly does what it needs to. Detangling rating from an ethnic girl. African American - 5/5. If you straight from the bottom, work your way up to the top slowly first, section by section with conditioner before you wash your hair, it will be manageable to do for all hair types… just have to know how to detangle properly. Do before you drench it with water- a little spray should work with the conditioner. But trust- condition first then lightly wet and work the comb through your hair… it should * work. If you are doing it properly. If it doesn’t, you aren’t doing it right… and breaking off more of your hair most likely and causing tension pains to your head. Watch a YouTube video if you have to. But don’t have to spend a fortune on a detangle comb, trust this WORKS babes

Not too flimsy but the points are a bit scratchy

This comb is exactly what I was looking for to use with my hair treatments. It's very strong and sturdy. The one I received didn't have any sharp points. I did my best with the pics but my camera is terrible. The comb is a true red, not orange. This a quality comb for a great price so I'm back for more as gifts. Hint: if there's any points on it, sandpaper will fix it. You can use nail files or emery boards if you don't have sandpaper. Super easy fix.

I was shocked to see that this comb had such high ratings… This comb HURTS! I don’t consider myself someone who has a sensitive scalp/head, but this thing seriously hurt. I guess that’s why it’s so cheap…

I don't know if I got a defective one, but the teeth on my comb had sharp edges. It scraped my scalp and tore my hair. Please check the edges before purchasing.

whoever is saying it’s too pointy at the is wrong. it’s fine. it doesn’t stab your head. i use to to brush curls out. it works fine

I got this recently as I'd had a similar wide tooth comb from Conair that I really liked. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have mentioned, the points of this comb are so sharp and pointy. They're not rounded at the bottom at all. I already threw away the packaging so will have to trash this one and find a replacement...Not the way I want to start my mornings, they're already stressful enough!

I ended up with a red one, but color isn't a big deal. The wide teeth are nice, but the cheap plastic is really pointy and sharp and it has scratched my scalp. The teeth also flare at odd angles and since it's so large, it makes it less effective than it would be if it was smaller. Glad it was only a couple bucks because I'm tossing it out.

The comb was huge, just like everyone else said. The ends are a little pointier that I would have liked on my scalp.

I knew it was big from the reviews, but I was still surprised when I opened the box. This comb is about a foot long! I have very delicate waves, and this works great to separate them some without causing frizz. I bought two. I received one black and one orange.

This comb was the star of my latest shipment! It is HUGE and absolutely perfect for detangling my wavy hair in the shower - took minutes instead of the usual half an hour. It's thick and sturdy, and came in a cheerful bright red, which I love. Can't believe it's so nice. Absolute thumbs up.
