To the other reviewers that have said this will damage your iPhone, they are flatly wrong and don’t understand how power deliver chargers like this one works. There is a smart chip inside the charger that will detect the maximum safe charging rate that your device can handle and deliver that safely to your device, this technology is also called power deliver. In short this charger will give any apple device you plug into it (along with a wide variety of non-apple devices) the maximum safe charging rate. For MacBook Pro’s that is gonna be around 140Watts, for the latest iPhone 16 Pro it’s close to 50 Watts (each iPhones max charge rate is different depending on the model). Will this charge at the max rate all the time? No, it depends on many factors such as how depleted the battery is, whether you have certain settings in your device turned on like optimized charging, make and model and more… I recommend getting this charger if you are the type that wants the fastest possible charge rate for all of your devices and do not want to have second guess. You can setup your device to always charge at the fastest rate by disabling optimized charging but word of advice is can shorter the overall life span of your device’s battery (that setting will do that regardless of what charger you use), but if you are super tech savvy like myself and trade in your devices every 2 years or so this won’t matter because you will be getting new battery’s with new devices and won’t see the side effects of a shorter long term battery life.
