Apple TV 4K (3rd generation)

This review is not for the Apple TV; but, it is for the packaging done at the Red Wing MN store from which this package was sent. I am exhausted by Target's lack of common courtesy when packaging up merchandise for customers. This item, Apple TV, is obviously fragile, and yet no one who packaged it for shipping via Fed Ex, bothered to secure the merchandise within the box to prevent it from being shaken or crushed during transit. I'm genuinely afraid to open the Apple TV for use, as I'm quite sure it has been damaged internally. The box it was shipped in was crushed and partially opened, the Apple TV packaging from Apple is dented as a result of the turbulence it experienced during its journey. I wonder if this how Target received its order of Apple TVs from Apple? I'm sure the utmost care was given to the product when packaged and sent to Target, the least Target could do is show the same grace and respect to its customers when packaging and sending merchandise. This is not the first time I've received damaged packages from Target, which were not properly secured within the box, I'm also not the only person to complain about this, which speaks volumes to your utter disdain for your customers. Fed Ex ground is notorious for damaging packages, this is common knowledge, the fact Target doesn't use a different shipping company or, at least be sure to secure customer merchandise, speaks volumes. I've been ordering for years, and the last couple years the customer care has gone severely downhill. Not sure what the recourse is for this particular shipment, as I really can't easily exchange the item at a local Target, I'm one hour and 50 minutes from the nearest Target, and both those Targets don't carry Apple TV.

All shows/ movies show up really dark. It’s not the tv because everything else shows up fine.

Best streaming box. Such a clean interface and the display quality is great! Setup is also really easy.

I got this because it was supposedly so easy and had a clean look. My son said he used it. I trust him and I think it does work really well if you’re under the age of 50, but if you’re used to fire stick something about the Amazon it it seemed good but I messed with it and every time I turned it off if I turned it back on, it was constantly disconnecting and just messing up and I’ve got really fast five optic Wi-Fi got the latest one everything it just drove me crazy I finally just took it off. Just wanna warn you I would borrow somebody’s and try before you buy own - I can’t return it inside of the box and it’s just just a waste of $140 for me

Easy to set up and use too

Please remove the picture of Wi-Fi and Internet and your description show it’s gone with the Internet input, but it’s only Wi-Fi

Love it and I don’t have to share it with anyone . My son and grandson love watching some of movies that they were just released and of course I will be ready for the new season for new shows .

Great addition to an apple ecosystem

Horrible Bluetooth Connection, constant disconnect and lags.

Came with a dud remote that wouldn’t charge so was unable to even set up Apple TV. So disappointing.

Love this streaming device. Been on my want list for some time. Replaces Roku4k and GoogleTV. Fits in perfectly with my other Apple devices. Powerful processor makes the remote so fast. Operation is so intuitive. No lag going from app to app or starting a program. Got so tired of Home Screen ads showing up on Roku and Google devices. No ads with Apple. Home Screen is very clean looking.

So much better than ANY “smart” TV software ever!!! I have worked with and had almost every brand of smart TV out there and no operating system or hardware even remotely compares to the Apple TV. It works flawlessly with AirPlay, allows you to control Apple HomeKit devices and so much more! I cannot recommend this enough and Target was insanely fast with the delivery

Definitely worth the money for the upgrade from the Firestick. Although the firestick is more cost friendly, it only has 8gb of memory which was causing it to be very slow and laggy after a while. We decided to upgrade to the Apple TV for our living room and we do not regret it! It is so much faster, better sound quality and great video quality. The only drawback is there is no internet browser option; however, you can stream seamlessly from your phone which is awesome.

We've owned Apple devices (phone, pads, pods, watch) for several years, but hadn't tried the AppleTV device until now. Apple does not disappoint ... easy to install and download all of our streaming service providers. Totally kicking ourselves for not purchasing the AppleTV sooner. Simple, sleek, bold and user friendly for every family member.

Bought an Apple 4K it worked fine until I did a software upgrade rendering it useless at it would not turn on. This is what ending up working for me after issues with the Apple 4K and the Roku Ultra (faded, washed out live 4K): Buy a good TV with the apps you need/want and stream through it; for me the LG OLED. Set the picture mode to either Sports or Vivid, ramp up the color setting and the clarity and you will be happy.

We have owned mutliple media players over the past 30 years and this the best by far. We have a Synology NAS Server, I had no problem connecting to, unlike the past players. The Apple TV 4K media device was the easiest to setup. Simple to navigate around. Apps are easy to install and unistall. Oh yeah, the picture quality is GREAT! I could keep going, but I think you get the point by now. Well worth every penny!
