Area rug, bumps, and humps
I ordered a 9 x 12 area rug but it's more like eight and 4 inches versus nine and it also doesn't lie flat because the manufacturer ships it folded! Anybody have experience with an area rug and how to get it to lay flat. Same thing happened with the.

Back rolling or reverse rolling the rug - Unroll the carpet and roll it up again in the opposite direction. To keep it secure, place heavy furniture on the rug while back-rolled/reverse-rolled to keep it from unraveling. (Leave it back rolled for 1-3 days). 2. Refer to our video on how to unpack, unroll, straighten and flatten your new rug -How to Straighten an Area Rug - Safavieh- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3A4L4pCNS5U 3. Refer to our additional video on how to remove creases - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImqHBg0mQtI How to Remove Creases from Indoor-Outdoor Rugs. 4. Use indoor rug/carpet tape- tape down the corners of the rug to secure and flatten the ends of your rug. 5. For folded corners, the best thing to do is to fold the corners under and let them rest for several days. 6. Place the rug on a hard flat floor instead of a carpet while it relaxes. 7. Use a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding. 8. Use a rug gripper for hardwood flooring. 9. Vacuum the rug where the creases are located. 10. Simply allow ample time for your rug to settle. In most cases, all you need to do is lay your Safavieh rug flat, and the waves/wrinkles/creases will even themselves out. 11. Use indoor double-sided carpet tape to tape down the rug to secure and flatten the ends of your rug (This will prevent bunching and buckling). You want to run the tape along the perimeter and put an X through the middle of the rug from corner to corner this will secure the rug.

Could come pacaked better.

It came with a lot of fabrication defects
This rug is really soft but it arrived with so many defects with the biggest ones just in the center of the rug. I sent an email to the customer service and they never replied back. I’m so disappointed of it. I wanted to be replaced but they didn’t answered any of my questions.

Great quality rug.
I love the color and size. I’ve gotten compliments already. It’s a very soft rug just not thick. It works well for our newly finished basement on our vinyl flooring. It does slide a little so a rug pad might help with cushion and keeping it in place. Overall, exactly what I was expecting.

Pretty rug
Beautiful colors to the rug. Rug came with pretty deep creases. Had to lay out for a couple days to flatten and also had to use iron to press out. Overall beautiful

Beautiful rug
I have purchased Safavieh rugs in the past. The rug is beautiful, sturdy and good value for the price. Needed special size 6 x 4. Glad they are 3-rd party for Target now, makes buying easy. I Put in my grandson’s bedroom. He loves it, say he feels like he’s in outer space.

This is a BEAUTIFUL RUG! I ordered the lighter one. I went back and forth between the grey one and the ivory one. It’s so soft and perfect! It’s still calming down for being packaged so tightly, but hey, I’m glad it was packaged that way so it wasn’t ruined in shipping. Love it - get it! Get a rug pad too.
