ASUS AX3000 WiFi 6 Router (RT-AX57) Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Router Gaming & Streaming AiMesh Compatible

Simple and very easy to add to existing setup.ASUS routers are great!

So far, so good. I have had good results with Asus products. Using this router as an AP model. It extends my ATT Fiber modem signals flawlessly to all parts of the house. I wish I would have done this 3 modem generations ago.

Poor system dropped internet every day and had to reset system and everything that was connected to it, returned unit and went back to the internet provider router.

My recently installed Asus RT-AX57 router has so far been a more powerful and more reliable router than my past similar speced TP-Link router that had started to intermittantly overheat and fail after two years of use. Both routers were rated at 1Gig + with other similar specs but the Asus router has further and more reliable reach that doesn't require the need for mesh or extender devices like the TP-Link router did. The Asus firmware interface took a little learning and getting accoustomed to as most do but it was logical and became reasonably easier to use once I became famalier with it. I have up to approx. 25 devices running on it on my in my home network at times and I use IP and MAC binding for each device. The Asus router has had no problem handling all of the them with no noticable performance fall off no matter how many of them might be running at any one time. Bottom line is that I have only had the router up and running for a couple of weeks so far but, that said and should the Asus router continue its reliability as it has so far, I can reccomend this router to anyone for a small in the home network like mine or for similar sized use for a small office' enviornment. I am a retired Director of Technology for a large metro real estate company.

My Spectrum plan allows 600 Mbps download, and averages around 680 at any given time). My PC and NAS (priority) are connected to three of the RT-AX57's LAN ports; the fourth port goes through a Gigabit switch to other wired devices, (some that will operate at reduced priority using QoS). However, by just enabling QoS on this router—even before applying any prioritization,—lessens the download rate by >30%. On WiFi, it drops to ≈200 Mbps. Not good!

Great product but telephone repair had to set it up because I couldn’t get it to work. They had to adjust some setting that they found odd to have to do. It took them a while to figure it out. Now it’s great!

Use as a range extender for or RT-BE58U RT-BE58U and it does a great job. Covers my whole 4 acre yard with 2.4ghz. Easy to link to primary router but doesnt have wifi7 so had to shut that option off because the primary has wifi7. I hardwired to primary with cat6.

Easy to setup with our security system, doorbell camera and other peripheral devices. And they're all running faster and consistently smoother now. Great range, even outside in the yard.

I purchased this product in April 2025 to used in "repeater mode" for my ATT gateway, and it works great with great signal strength. When I had some issues with setting up, their phone techs, Jerry and Amoy B. were very helpful.

Easily added this RT-AX57 onto an existing ASUS mesh network. This unit is located in a attached garage and easily handles personal devices and all my outdoor smart lights and outlets.

It's honestly everything I Have been looking for in a router. It works with my spectrum modem and I can use my pfsense device with it

The wifi router is only a few days old, the experience has been very good so far, very easy to setup, just follow the setup guide and download the app, a lot faster than my previous Netgear Nighthawk. Thanks, Roger

This is a nice router. The app that you can get for ASUS router setup is good, but there is a lot more info on YouTube, but not by ASUS.

Whooo boy is this thing fast. I'm able to stream a game to my Asus ROG phone 6 and my wife playing a game on her birthday present (Asus ROG Ally) all while streaming a movie on the big screen at the same time.

Bought this router to use in conjunction with an ATT 5268ac Pace Modem. Never having setup a router before, I was up and running in about 10 minutes. I really wanted a TUF Gaming AX5400 router, but this was all i could afford at the moment. Its purpose was to move the connections from the ATT modem over to the RT-AX57 & use it for online gaming, mainly CS2. I wish I had just waited longer & gotten the TUF Gaming AX5400. I went ahead and set up all the peripherals, mainly 2 outdoor cams-WiFi, 2 Roku devices-1 Wired 1 WiFi, 2 Desktop PC's-1 Wired 1 WiFi, and an LGTV-Wired. The main goal was to remove BufferBloat by setting the QOS & I was able to go from an F-rating to an A+-rating on the WAVFORM webpage with this. The router is working fine, it includes AiProtection from Trend Micro free lifetime Firewall protection and has many settings for you to tweak if you want to use a VPN or IPV6, Alexa if you're into that, Parental controls and AI mesh if you want to add more routers to cover more distances. The RT-AX57, it's not a bad router if you just don't want to use what your ISP gives you or you want better WiFi coverage. Did this improve my ping to the CS2 servers? No, but then again, I don't think any router will. My closest server is in Atlanta from Miami and this made absolutely zero difference. I am wired in through Ethernet & was hoping this made a difference, but it was exactly the same as if I had just used the ATT modem. Would the TUF Gaming AX5400 make a difference? Reduce ping or maybe give a more fluid experience with less latency and with more gaming options, like different hops to the server or a more robust connection? If ASUS sends me a free one, I'll let you know.

As usual, Asus has made installation as easy as pie. Enter your SSID, user and password and it just works. If you want to configure in greater depth and for more features just login and enjoy the great web interface. The last Asus Router lasted 11 years, being on all the time. If it is like its predecessor this one will too. (It does not seem to be as warm.) For speed and range this one is so much better than our old one!

Just simple product registration failed miserably. All instructions on the booklet that come with the product were ALL WRONG. First impression is terrible. Product is supposed to be USER-FRIENDLY and seamlessly smooth. Unfortunately it is far from it. That is why Asus failed my first impression miserably.
