Q: Is this the extreme proccessor model?

A: The original Ally can be purchased with a Z1 Extreme. It is recommended to purchase the Z1 Extreme model of the Ally as it has much better performance in game. That version is not listed for sale.

The main difference between the ASUS ROG Ally and the ROG Ally X is that the Ally X is essentially an upgraded version with significantly more RAM, storage, and a much larger battery compared to the standard Ally, while still featuring the same 7-inch 120Hz display and AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor; making the Ally X capable of longer gaming sessions with better performance overall. A: It’s not . Asus is better you could literally just download the steam deck app on your asus and it runs windows 11 and you could also play games from Xbox game pass on there

They also both support USB-C for charging and come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, the Ally supports 1080p while the SteamDeck doesn't. I love it, really. My only issues are the random restarts when I launch a game after it was turned off, and some games crashing while redownloading resource packs after a restart. a good example of this is halo infinite, every time I have to download the resource packs it crashes about 5 times, but it keeps the progress so it's not that much of an issue. Though I do understand that such a game pushes the rog ally to its limit. Anyway, I love it. It's my pride and joy. Keep it up ASUS!

It’s great but the main problem is the problems and glitches it comes with, my first problem was my right bumper not responding unless pressed in a certain position firmly, next it was the led lights flickering and the command center telling me what mode I’m in without me opening the command center. I still haven’t fixed the led flickering and the mode telling and nothing online can help me.

It is a wonderful system and would be an easy 5 stars if the SD card slot wasn't near the power supply so it over heats and ruins SD cards. I just use a USB drive and love it but melting SD cards makes it just a 3 star.
