Made from 100% silk and fully adjustable, this hypoallergenic, luxurious, lavender aromatherapy eye mask or eye pillow can be used as a weighted sleep mask, for meditation or shavasana during yoga, or to relieve migraines and headaches. You can customize this Asutra eye mask as you like. Unzip the purple silk mask to find a cotton bag filled with lavender and flax seeds inside. You can take out the cotton bag and use the purple silk cover on its own as a light eye mask for sleeping or relaxation. The strap is adjustable, so please loosen it as needed so that the mask is not too tight on your eyes before using.

Q: This product is not cruelty-free and vegan if it is made of silk. Has Asutra developed a process for gathering silk without boiling the silkworms alive? Or should "cruelty-free and vegan" be removed?

You can use the silk eye mask alone or with the weighted pillow, which I actually prefer for the light lavender scent and the gentle weight. The silk is soft and the straps are completely adjustable. Plus, the set comes with a cooling gel eye mask. What’s more could you ask for?

I bought this on sale to try for my migraine-induced naps, and it just made things worse. The lavender scent was overwhelming, and I like lavender. The mask is too bulky for side sleeping, and there's no stitching to keep the insides from shifting around. It also pressed uncomfortably hard against my eyes, and felt too tight. It is fairly well made aside from that, but overall not worth the discomfort.

I'll start by saying I have zero allergies and have never had any allergies. But I just woke up from a nap with the lavender mask and I itches from head to toe including inside my mouth. I cannot use it again. I like the cooling mask, although it is a little bit tight.

My cat got sick on my eye mask so I had to wash it. It came out slimy the first wash almost like it was drenched in fabric softener. I washed it again with just a rinse/spin and it still came out that way! I put it in the dryer and the purple sleeve came out clean! However, the insert came out like a brick! It was hard and I couldn’t even bend it! I left it out for a few days and last night I noticed it was wet again and not as stiff as it was a few days ago so I picked it up and smelt it and it had a distinct earthy smell. I decided to cut it open and it was FILLED with sprouting seeds! And the package is definitely lying because it said it was filled with lavender. Definitely NOT. They’re literally flax seeds.
