Q: I don't see a spec sheet / install sheet attached to this listing and I am trying to determine if an adjustable bed will fit into this frame. The bed I am trying to fit is 76" Wide and 80" Long.

A: Hi, Jessica - Thanks for asking! This Austin Wingback Bed is a panel bed and it requires a box spring. This type of bed frame is usually not compatible with an adjustable base as it has a fixed slat system. You would need to look for a platform version of a bed frame that specifically states it is compatible with an adjustable base. Have a great day! - Rob

Q: What are the measurements of the headboard? Is there a gap between the bed frame and the bottom edge of the headboard, how tall? The mattress in the picture is hiding the bottom portion of headboard.

A: Hello Amanda - Thankyou for showing your interest in this item. The bottom of the headboard is 24" from the floor, the top of the upholstered rail is 13.5" from the floor. The recommended box spring height is 9" with an 11" mattress to cover the gap. Hope this helps.

Q: What's the height of the mattress platform (so how high will the mattress be off the ground)? Is the mattress base solid, or slats?

The bed is nice but was a huge pain to put together. For the amount of money it costs the craftsmanship was not there. There were loose threads all over and the padding in the headboard is uneven and lumpy. The color (walnut titan) is not as dark as it appears online.
