I’ve enjoyed this product but I’m mildly irritated with the packaging! I thought my bottle was empty, but knew it was too soon to be empty. I pumped and pumped the nozzle and nothing would come out, I shook it, kept it upside down, all kinds of things to try and make sure I had every last bit out. Well I decided to pry the inner bag out of the bottle and cut the tough bag inside open, and found A LOT of product still inside. I was ready to throw it away! For $38 they need to find a better way to package this because I almost threw away so much product due to the pump no longer able to get it out!

Great, but stinks badly.
It’s great retinol. it’s hard to find a retinal product that actually has it in there. It feels, but I can definitely tell. I bought it on clearance. My only concern is that it smells really bad. I don’t know if it’s normal. Maybe it’s because it’s close to expiration, smells bad enough that even after putting perfume lotion on top, I can still smell it on myself.

It’s nice to see a product that uses clean ingredients and doesn’t have filler ingredients. I have uneven skin tone, dullness, dryness, and fine lines. It happens to everyone, when they age. After usage for over a month, I took the a little goes a long approach. I’m happy with the results thus far. It’s a gradual change over time. My skin looks better and in turn, I feel better or more confident. My friends have told me my skin looks better and asked what I’ve been using or what I’ve changed. With ingredients such as Retinaldehyde, Niacinamide, and Hyaluronic acid, it’s a potent combination that addresses key skincare issues for me. Retinaldehyde or Vitamin A, supercharges your cells for collagen production, which is great for skin brightening, firming, and smoothing. Niacinamide or Vitamin B3 creates a barrier to keep your skin hydrated, reduce inflammation, redness, regulate oil production, anti-ageing, and can help with acne. Hyaluronic acid, which is hydrating keeps your skin nice and plump, smoothing out wrinkles, and helps with acne scars. It’s a great addition to my skincare routine.

Didn't irritate but didn't hydrate and made skin feel rough
It didn’t irritate my skin, but it made it feel rather sandpapery. And it wasn’t at all hydrating, I had to layer another moisturizer on top of it. If you use this also on your neck and décolleté, you will run out very quickly.

Good alternative
I just started using this so I can’t speak to its efficacy, but I like the texture and thickness of this. Hoping it’s a good alternative to tretinoin which my skin cannot handle.
This is a great option if you are looking for something to help you out with those fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes. It isn't greasy at all and has no scent, which I really appreciate. Goes on smooth and works!
This cream has a really good texture to it. It absorbs well and leaves face feeling great. I really like that it doesn’t have a scent. After using it for awhile my face looks and feels amazing! Great product!
This has been a game changer for my wife. The uses it daily after a shower. It smooths on nicely and over weeks of usage has helped demenished fine lines and wrinkles along with color pigmentation. I highly recommend.

Not my favorite retinol
This retinol product was fine but I did have some sensitivity with it and dryness after using it a couple days. I wasn't sure if it was the lotion causing it but my skin got better within a couple days of not using it. I am not a huge fan of the scent but it's not a huge deal. Overall, I've had better experiences with other retinol lotions where I would not think of using this again.

Wife says it burns a little the first time you apply it. She used it every night for two weeks but didn't notice much of a difference. If anything, some of her less deep lines have smoothed. She said it might be great if you have smoother skin or less wrinkles. But she's happy to continue using it to see if it improves.
This product is really great and easy to use. I always worry if my skin will react badly to a new product, but I used as directed and had no issues. I think it is making a difference after a couple of weeks of use. The product is easy to get out and I have no complaints about the design

I absolutely LOVE Avene products and have used them for years, so I was excited to try this new addition to the lineup.
