Q: What is the height of the bed underneath from floor to top of the underpart of the bed. I have a vent the full size would need to go over, so I need a floating bed that's higher from the floor to the top of the underpart, to give the vent room.

Q: Does this bed fit a box spring? Also what does it look like underneath...like is there a post in the center holding it up?

A: Thank you for you interest in the Avenue Platform Bed and Headboard. No box spring required for all our beds. There is a board at approximately 3/4 of the length of the bed that goes across to give enough support to permit the floating bed design effect.

Great bed overall. Pretty sturdy also, haven’t tried adult activities on it just yet but I’m sure it’ll hold up. I installed LED lights on the bottom and the backboard and gives it a cool floaty look and makes it look bigger. Can’t beat it for the price. If you’re putting it together by yourself it’ll take 2 hours and you’ll have to have experience with putting stuff together. Recommend two people. Also one of the boards came crack, probably from shipping but I didn’t return it just used it and it’s been holding up.

I absolutely love this bed frame! Took a huge risk purchasing it because their was no reviews! My husband and I are so pleased with this purchase. The finishing comes off as matte black not wood looking at all. Sooo fancy! Their was a few kinks in the wood when we received it but the frame is so nice that i don't even care and they are to small to notice unless your up close. This bed frame gives off a luxury vibe! Also, something i loved about this bed frame was the headboard piece. If you look in the picture you will see that the headboard has a rectangle type piece that is open on the sides. Their is a little shelve part in between where you can put your phone underneath. It is super cool how that worked out because my husband and i try to re-frame from nightstands and dressers (Yes, we are weird.) We love to have as much open space as possible, but we also didn't want to have our phones on the floor so this worked out for us! NOW! When it comes to assembly of this bed frame it will look overwhelming at first but once you get it going it get's easier and the end reward is worth it. Their are a handful of pieces and you will defiantly need some tools and 1 or 2 hrs to put it all together. I hope that anyone who purchases this frame loves it as much as we do!
