Q: I have this toy and bought for a one year old at the time. The compact height worked then...I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to stay in the extended position. Can you help?

A: Hi Olga. When new the shopping cart in its compact packaging it measures 16.85’’ (H). The shopping cart should be extended to its full height of 23.5" once the packaging is removed. Then it's time to shop and play! Once extended to it's full height, it locks in place and cannot be lowered again. The Battat Team

We absolutely loved this cart for our first kiddo, but I’m super bummed that the cart’s height is not adjustable to go back to a lower position for our second baby. I checked out the user manual and it seems newer ones are adjustable, but ours purchased a year ago does not.

Received as a birthday gift for my child. Thought it was great to have adjustable height. Not really a fan however if this cart. The basket falls off, and the whole cart tips over easily. My son has fallen on it or with it while pushing it multiple times. I have hid the cart and now just let him use the basket. If it wasn’t a gift I would get rid of it….

Ordered two, and love it. This grocery cart is great because you can adjust the height. The higher hight is just the right size for my 4.5 year old, will last her a couple more years. The lower hight is perfect for my 14 month old. She doesn’t walk on her own yet, but loves to push this around. The music button has an off switch which is a plus, but the music isn’t too loud and isn’t obnoxious. It lights up too which is fun for my younger daughter. It is a more compact size, meaning it’s not long like a traditional cart, and that’s actually easier for the kids to drive around and not bump into things ( or my heels!) They like that the cart can come off and become a shopping basket. There’s also leg holes so they can take their baby dolls shopping too. The food that comes with isn’t great quality, but not awe full either. The plastic is strong enough to hold its shape and does not get squished at all. The cardboard boxes however don’t last. Wish they were plastic. That’s really my only complain, and not a deal breaker. I would recommend to a friend.
