Melissa & Doug Fill & Roll Grocery Basket Playset

The basket is excellent and I like the grocery list that was included. I did not like that the boxes were all constructed of carboard. The second part of my order was for wood food groups and I was much more impressed with the quality of those items.

Like many of the other play food sets, This is of a great quality and definitely worth it for the price. If it can withstand my feral toddler, it can withstand yours too!

My grandchildren love to play store and pretend cook (as well as cook IRL). This grocery basket set lets them pretend to shop for the ingredients for their pretend meals.

I got this for my 3 year old granddaughter to go with her Target cash register and she absolutely loves it. It is a very nice set for little ones.

Perfect addition to the grocery store so we have more than one buggy. The kids are enjoining it and it has saved us from a lot of conflict. All ages from 1-6 are able to play with it.

Very cute! I love how all the boxes and cans actually open. The little shopping list is such s as nice touch, really gets kids to use their cognitive skills. Great for all ages.

I bought this for a toddler specifically because of the cart. It is sturdy and the right size for a toddler or preschooler to haul whatever they need to haul inside. I don't know how it would hold up outside. The foods included are boxes and cans of various sorts. Those items are light cardboard and would be easily crushed. So we filled them with styrofoam insulation and taped with packing tape to make them sturdier. I wish the M&D cans did not open, though I can see how that might be advantageous for older children.

My toddler spotted this toy in target and the rest is history. He immediately took it off the shelf and pushed it all throughout target with the biggest smile on his face. The size is perfect, it rolls well and the cans with the lids are a nice touch. My dislikes are the cardboard food items and a rough and tumble toddler don’t mix well. We still have them, but they are pretty flattened. Cardboard toys can only withstand so much even through normal play. And I understood what they were going with in terms of the pencil with the grocery list, but it just seemed like a little dagger that didn’t actually mark the plastic paper. BUT it serves its purpose with my little boy, which is a fun little push toy he can put his things in. Cute purchase!

I wasn't sure what the boxes were made of but figured they'd be robust given the price tag. Turns out they're simple cardboard. Cheap quality and not worth it.

We bought this for my 3 year old to use with his cash register, and MD did not disappoint. It’s very durable and perfect for his age.

My son really loves the basket/cart. However, and this is just me bc he loves it, I feel like the boxes and "cans" could be made of more durable material (like maybe plastic and silicone or even wood cans and boxes) so that it will last longer. My son loves to put things in there (like his blocks and ring toys) and it would be nice if they lasted longer. (-1 star) The wheeled basket is made well though and bc of that, this is a decent purchase.
