Very cool toy
Whole family loved it! It’s a great toy for ALL ages. My daughter practices her motor skills…she’s 3 and my husband loves adding different items to try to grab. It’s a great toy but I think it’s overly priced. It’s a cool toy if you will be using it often but u fear it’s a toy that will get put away and not get used…thinking of adding candy and getting a snack everyday using it. I hope the claw can handle being used often and not break over time.

Chain inside came broken. Kid opened it on Christmas and we threw out the packaging before realizing it was broken. Target won’t let me return it even though it is broken.

Malfuctioning Machine - Double Dud!
Do not buy. We purchased this as a Christmas present. After opening, we discovered the chain for the claw was broken. Target immediately helped by shipping a replacement. However, the replacement did not prove any better. One of the access screw is stripped and the claw chain barely works and keeps malfunctioning. I guess the replacement “works”. I don’t write reviews often; it feels like the FAO quality is just not the same. We are very disappointed and I’d hate to see this happen to another buyer/child.

A great buy
I like the plush toys. The game is well made. Very real interaction like the larger arcade. My granddaughter loved it! She had a very small, cheap version that didn’t work at all and asked for a bigger one she saw in an ad paper at different store. Once I saw this one I knew this was it when I saw the name Fao Schwarz. This is a quality brand. I highly recommend.

I wanted to love this! My kids were so excited when they opened this on Christmas and couldn’t wait to play with this. My daughter is 9 and figured out that the issue is that any time the chain twists the claw simply does not work which is almost every time. This is quite frustrating and the youngest (7) was so upset by this. Overall was not what I expected from this brand. I hoped for better quality and something actually functional. After one day of use would not work at all

Do Not Purchase
The first one I bought came broken. The chain that holds the claw (which is very thin) was broken. Returned and got a second one. The claw can be moved and dropped, but the claw never opens to pick anything up (like the instructions say it should). Packaged it up to return. In over 10 years of buying and receiving toys for my kid, this easily makes the list of the top five worst toys. It is the most expensive failure, too. I cannot believe that this is being sold in stores, and for $50. I am shocked this came from this (once famous) toy brand. Do not believe positive reviews.
