After excelling as a confectionery apprentice, Attilio Babbi began in the 1950s to passionately create cones, wafers and ingredients for gelato masters in the heart of Romagna, Italy. In 1958, he created the "perfect dessert cookie" that could offer an unforgettable experience of taste. Thus, the Viennesi and Waferini were born.
Today, together with Giulio (CEO) and his three sons, the fourth Babbi generation works at the company.
