LOVE this gingerbread mix! Even family that doesn’t typically like gingerbread will eat these cookies. Dough seems a tad dry but cookies come out moist. Look forward to these being in stock each Christmas. Will buy this mix every year for baking gingerbread men with the kids!

They lacked flavor and puffed up more than expected. I added a TON of ginger powder after I tasted my first batch. I used to buy the gingerbread cake box mix and it had a recipe for cookies as well on it; I feel like that one was better. Next year I’m going to try to make from scratch.
Only buy if you're in a pinch.

This was really easy to mix up and shape with cookie cutters. My kids had so much fun! I somehow made it to adulthood without ever having made gingerbread cookies so I needed something beginner level and this was definitely easy enough for me. I got this Betty Crocker cookie mix, some Wondershop cookie cutters and Wondershop cookie frosting and the outcome was perfect! The cookies were cute and delicious. And it makes your house smell like the holidays. I love it

The new 2022 formula now includes milk ingredients however, that was not the only problem. This new formula/recipe now feels like kinetic sand dough! I have made this recipe for years and with this new recipe formula it is horrible I could not even form gingerbread man cut out this door was so runny and I’ve made this again for years!

How disappointing! No matter how long I refrigerated or how much flour I added, it still remained sticky. I even tried the "roll between parchment paper" tip and that helped to roll it out but I still couldn't use cookie cutters to make gingerbread men. The whole mix went in the garbage and my 3 year old walked away in tears.

This is an excellent base for gingerbread cookies and for all those who want more flavor, do as I do, and add tons of cinnamon, ginger and cloves. I do see it listed as in stock in stores on the West coast. Is it really in stock somewhere?
