Super quick to throw together (just add butter and water like the box says), and in no time my kitchen smells like warm, freshly baked cookies—even though it was just a mix. The cookies come out buttery, chocolatey, with that perfect crisp edge and a chewy center. They’re not fancy, but they hit the spot every time, especially when I want something simple and satisfying

Really good staple for my Christmas baking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make these every year and I do tweak it a bit by diving the dough, and adding coloring to one and twisting them into candy cane shapes and I sprinkle with more crushed candy cane sugar mix. I don’t feel the dough is strong enough peppermint flavor, but it’s still a good solid base and it makes it easier to have something so easy to mix together
