Different Recipe in 2024 :(
This used to be the soft peppermints and they were delicious on ice cream or hot cocoa. Now it’s just broken pieces of hard candy canes. Very disappointed in this change.

New Recipe in 2024, Not Great
Note for 2024: Changed recipe, consistency, and altered container. The old soft mints of yore have been replaced with in essence mini pieces of hard candy cane. Not the softness and perfect sweetness of before, now it’s hard very crunchy peppermint. It’ll get the job done but not as good as it once was. Also, the old container had a sift top to ensure a light sprinkling; the new container has none hence you’re bound to spill / use more. Target, please stop changing recipes especially without notifying customers first. It’s deceptive.

They have changed from previous years. They used to be the soft peppermint bits. Now they are hard candy bits. They are great if that’s what you’re looking for. I just prefer the soft candy.

These are the best peppermint sprinkle bits ever! They have that melt-in-your-mouth texture. I sprinkle them in and on top of my cappuccino and on my baked treats! Sadly, they are only available around the winter holidays, so I bought a bunch; hopefully they last me all year!

Soft and chewy peppermint candies
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Peppermint crunch candies for baking cookies are delicious. I love peppermint flavor, however I was nervous that these pieces might be the hard crunchy ones. But they aren’t!!! These are the soft peppermints think the ones that are the big candies that start to dissolve in your mouth. Not the hard crunchy ones. They are perfect for a chewy cookie,my personal favorite! I’ll be buying these again, when I run out. I have a new recipe for Peopermint cookies so I was happy to try these. We did a batch of baked into the cookie dough and placed on top when they came out of the over. Both were great but we preferred the baked in. I received an incentive to write this review.

Not what you think- no bark, all cookie
Not crushed candy canes - think crushed dinner mints (those pillow-y ones). You won’t want to use this for any type of bark. I ended up using mine for toppers on hot cocoa and some peppermint frosted cupcakes & sugar cookies.

Great texture and taste..

The pieces crumble nicely and they look great as decoration on some hot chocolate. You can also just snack them as is or use them to decorate cupcakes or Christmas cakes. Soft melty yummy delicious and freah
