While I really appreciate that they did not use artificial dyes, the results are meh. Not really red, and the green chips leave a very unappealing fluorescent yellow substance behind which sometimes bleeds into the surrounding cookie like a halo. Also just taste like sugar chips to me. Will not buy again.

Yay artificial dye-free! They melted okay in the microwave when mixed with a touch of avocado oil. The "red" is what I've come to expect from dye-free red, which is to say more pinkish. I also tried adding a bit of dye-free red food coloring after melting, which made for a nicer maroon red (see pic) and the mix stayed smooth. I hope they bring these back every year!
