No Pram Available

I bought this stroller a few months ago with the intention of being able to use it with the bassinet/pram option if I found it annoying to have to strap my baby into his car seat every time I go for a walk (that’s the only way to have baby face you) as the photos and description for the stroller on this and other retailer websites seem to pretty clearly state that’s an option. I have now been informed that the pram/ bassinet for this model has been discontinued and is no longer available anywhere which is understandably frustrating as I would likely have purchased a different stroller had I known the bassinet wouldn’t be an option. Other than that inconvenience and frustration, the stroller works well, is very easy to assemble and collapse and maneuver over bumpy terrain.

Love this stroller. Only drawback is that there isn’t a good solution for a cup on the handle bar.

Photos would indicate you can utilize the pram with this stroller, but the compatible pram has been discontinued and there is no adapter to make any of the others work.

I purchase the bundle around October of last year . was due in March of 2022,for the past 6 month the stroller has been giving me problems for example when I fold the stroller I have to keep pulling about 3 to 5 times to get the stroller to fold. Once time I fold it and when I open the stroller ,the front wheel detach from the stroller. I haven’t had any issue with the car seat but the stroller is a nightmare.

Great stroller for tall toddlers

I love this stroller! I have a really tall toddler and she outgrew her first stroller. She has so much room in this stroller and there’s even room for her to grow. The ride is very smooth and handles different terrains really well. The one handed fold feature is awesome! The only downside to this stroller is that the storage space under the stroller is on the smaller side. Access to the storage underneath is also quite small. But not a deal breaker. Overall this is a great stroller.

Don't like the breaks being on top right side of handle it was hard to find at first and was looking for stroller break on bottom. Would have LOVED it if break was on the bottom like all other stroller easier to handle if holding a car seat or drink.

Great Stroller. But does NOT have 4 modes.

I extensively researched our stroller purchase and this one is a great all-arounder if that’s what you are looking for. It is well made, easy to maneuver, and is easy to fold. However, Baby Jogger does not make a compatible pram currently and I am having no luck on the used market. Unless they make a pram that consumer can buy—it does not have 4 modes.

Not as good as previous model

I loved my old city mini gt. This new version is awful, the fabric is not baby/toddler friendly, sure it is soft but not easy to wipe clean. The harness makes me want to scream. Even with a calm baby is a pain to clip. You have to thread one clasp into another on this narrow line then clip it into the base harness. It is a pain to thread them out comes apart as you are trying to n him it. Forget it if your child is struggling at all to go into the seat. Beyond disappointed with this stroller and actually hate using it.

We purchased this for my son's family. They live where the gravel roads are very bumpy in a car at 10 mph. They said the stroller is able to handle that great.

Wheels are a Game Changer

Honestly it’s an amazing stroller! The wheels were the biggest selling point for us. As first time parents, we never thought twice about having a stroller with “all terrain” wheels. But our previous stroller (Maxi Cosi) wheels always got stuck on the simplest terrain of the mall floor, city sidewalks, gravel, everything lol. So now with the Baby Jogger, we can go anywhere without getting stuck and baby shaking! Plus, I love that you can steer with one hand, the stroller really moves effortlessly.

Upgrades but some features are a downgrade

4 out of 5 stars
Not a complete upgrade - 1 year ago
originally posted on babyjogger.com
I recently upgraded from the original citymini. Overall a much better stroller. Wheels and traction and steering are serious upgrades. As with prior versions it lays close to flat and lifts at the seat for super easy collapsing. The adjustable handlebar and the footrest lift are also great upgrades. I actually bought this one solely for the footrest lift. However, with it come some supposed improvements that in my opinion are really a downgrade. Instead of the easy foot lock, now it’s to on the side and by hand. Not helpful for busy moms with their hands full. The canopy also doesn’t have the night interior extension which made it darker for napping in the stroller. And the new tray is higher making it harder for little ones to see out so we don’t use it at Disney (reason I upgraded stroller as we have annual passes and wanted her to nap? It also doesn’t swing to the side like the prior version so you have to completely detach it and store it. Not helpful. I really miss these features and hope baby jogger improves them in the next version. I have the uppababy and Bob and this is still my travel preferred stroller

Overall good stroller

LOVE this stroller! I bought it because I thought I could jog with it but then I saw that it said it’s not recommended to jog with even thought it’s called a baby jogger. I feel like I could still jog with it though. It’s not really that light weight but it’s super easy to push and maneuver. Doesn’t take up much space in the trunk and is comfy to sit in for my 2 year old. The storage on the bottom is small but it’s cool that you can access it from the front of the stroller. I definitely recommend purchasing :)

Great design and even better function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to be picked for and to test out this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. After having a different jogger stroller; I can really see how nice and functional this one is. My number one favorite thing is the size. It’s doesn’t take up most of my trunk like a different one I have. Yet, the wheels work great and I don’t feel like I’m skimping on anything at all due to its size. Also, it breaks down so easily y’all! It’s almost like a party trick when I have other moms near me and asking me about it in the neighborhood. The fabric is your typical fabric; easy to wipe and air dries well… but nothing fantastic to call home about. Folding it was a breeze and I love that it fits and takes up less space than other similar strollers. Even though it’s not a feature, it is to me because space is so important and I didn’t realize what kind of mistake I made in the past when picking a stroller system. However, it does not stand on its own if that’s important to you. The adjustable seat is great and super easy to adjust with a kiddo in the seat. I feel like my little guy was comfortable and secure in this stroller. Best of all, even though it’s a “jogger,” you don’t look silly using it when not jogging. Thanks Stellar for letting me see the light and test this jogger out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I didn’t love this stroller. It’s fine for pavement but any other surface (even gravel) and the wheels don’t roll smoothly. The belt system is also really difficult to use. I have a hard time strapping in my daughter. It doesn’t really make sense to me! The locking mechanism is on the side, which I’m not used to either. I’m not a fan. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Love this stroller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. I absolutely love it! I’ve never been one to need all the bells and whistle‘s, but I might have to change my attitude on that. I feel like they have thought of so many extra features I wouldn’t have considered needing, but completely love. For starters the assembly instructions were detailed picture, not a bunch of wording that no one ever reads. By far my favorite thing about this stroller is how easy it it so push on grass! We have soccer games every weekend and the large wheels make it so much easier to push than any other stroller I have used in the past. I typically have a chair in one hand and a soccer bag or diaper bag on my back and I can push this with 1 hand. It also has a 1 handed close system which is another awesome 1 handed feature. I love how high the handle bar goes up. I’m 5’8 and some other stroller I feel like I have to extend my arms fully in order to reach the handle bar. The fabric is so soft and almost feel like a memory foam in it. I haven’t had to clean it yet but looks like it would be easy to just wipe down. The seat reclines back very far and has the ability the raise the legs up. It is great for both my 3 month old and 2.5 year old to nap in. The canopy extends super far for that extra sun and wind protection. It also has a magnetic flap in the canopy so you can see you baby. A few critiques I have would be it doesn’t including some sort of cup holders/phone holder on the handles for parents. It would also be great to have cup holders for the kiddo. I wish it came with the belly bar or child tray but these need to be purchased separately. The basket under neither is large and I really like the flexible sides but there is no way I could fit my diaper bag down there. It’s also really hard to access when you have the seat fully reclined. I had a terrible time attaching the canopy when the stroller arrived. I worked on it for a good 10 minutes and could only get 1 side attached at the same time. My dad tried and got it attached pretty fast so could have just been me. Overall, I really do love this stroller and would recommend it to a friend

City Mini GT2

4 out of 5 stars
Morgherbst - 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the City Mini GT2 from the Stellar product testing panel and the first thing I noticed was how light weight it was. It easily folds up too which is a huge convenience for a single mom. I like to take my 2 year old on walks/ runs and the stroller glides so smooth! My little one sits comfortably and it can recline all the way incase he needs to nap. The material is soft but also not too thick, which helps because we live in FL. The canopy is very large which helps block the sun and the basket under is very large for storage. Overall, I love this stroller and the functionality. The only downfalls would be that there is no snack tray/cup holder for either the child or myself and the break bar is a tad bit confusing to find.
