Description
The Secure Snap Tech 35 Infant Car Seat features EPS energy-absorbing foam and patented side impact head protection, delivering safety and security for you and your child. The included car seat base has four recline positions and easily installs with included LATCH connectors. The one-hand seat release allows you to easily remove the seat without disturbing your baby. The extra-large 3-panel canopy protects your little one from the elements. The rear-facing car seat accommodates children from 4 to 35 pounds and up to 32 inches in height.

The straps are ridiculously difficult to loosen and tighten. Like, I am physically unable to do it sometimes. Also, the way the buckle goes together to click in is very difficult… a very interesting design choice by Babytrend, definitely not user friendly. I definitely wish I had gone a different direction car seat wise, but we are unfortunately stuck with our baby trend ones now.

LOVE! Durable. Love the triangle for multiple ways to carry - and distribute weight on your forearm. Nice and padded. Has an extra foam to insert if your baby is on the small side! Ours was 5# 13oz and the insert made him just tall enough for the straps to work!

I really wanted to like this. It’s a little heavier than I anticipated. The cushions seemed so comfortable but there’s a lot of other cons. As someone with arthritis I thought the large button to tighten and loosen the straps would be easier but I found it almost impossible to use. The lower clips in the groin area was really far under my baby’s bottom making it very uncomfortable for him. He’s only 3 months and weighs 14 pounds so he isn’t too big for the seat. The lower clip also requires you to hold both pieces at a single time to clip which as any busy mom/dad knows you don’t have time to fight with an angry baby/toddler when you need to leave. I’ve already clipped my fingers twice in one day. I’m sure it’s a nice car seat for some but it wasn’t my favorite.

It has an adjustable harness position and is problem-free. It's easy to install and clean and feels sturdy. It can also be used without the base. It is incredibly heavy. We use it as a travel seat. This is a solid option for new parents or even those who need a back seat. I highly recommend it.

It is comfy and I love the head protection. Definitely worth the investment. The canopy adds protection on your little ones eyes on those bright Sunny car rides. The color is an added bonus. I had a Chico brand car seat before this baby trend and prefer the Chicco. This car seat is annoying to buckle !! It's like a puzzle and deems difficult with a squirmy baby trying to connect the pieces... It takes time to get used to. I also noticed that the straps are uneven when tightening if baby is not in a certain way, especially as they get older. I've had to take her out several times and readjust so that both straps tighten. Overall I am not pleased with this car seat and while it does what it needs to do... I would not use this brand again. I would rather spend the extra for a nicer one
