This is our second time buying this same car seat. We loved it for our daughter. So, we are buying it again for our baby boy due in June. The padding is perfect when they are newborns, and the removable padding keeps them comfortable as they grow. I do not know why people are complaining about the straps. Our daughter is an 11 month old that wears size 24 month clothes and still fits in this car seat. She is 25 pounds and can be buckled perfectly fine in it. There is a red button right under the bottom harness, you push it and pull the straps to make them longer, then you pull the bottom strap to adjust in case you made them too big. It is a heavier car seat, but I will haul that thing anywhere as long as my baby is comfortable. The other car seats that have this kind of padding are significantly pricier, and the ones that don't have it, are deep and have no padding at all causing the newborn to slouch in there uncomfortably. We found the baby trend snap gear line very practical. Anyone buying this should look into getting the manta snap gear jogger stroller. Such a good buy!
I’m sure this would have been an excellent baby seat. But it was a baby gift and my daughter found it still in the box never opened. So she needed a seat to transport her granddaughter who weighs 21 lbs and she was to big for it. I tried getting an credit for it at a Target and they said they couldn’t because it was an on line purchase and the numbers wasn’t coming up. What are we to do?
The car seat is nice and seems comfortable until the baby is 2 months. My baby was a preemie and the straps are not long enough to buckle the bottom now that she's 3 months. The straps are also very uncomfortable too. We have to remove the top layer of the carseat in order for her to fit and she's 12 lbs.
The pads are super annoying cause they are coming off. Also, right when I opened it I noticed that the handle was super wiggly! The handle snapped into place, but was still able to wiggle around and makes a metal clinking sound.....sending back.
I purchased this car seat about 7 months ago. It was fine until last month I cannot adjust the straps long enough. The straps are maxed out already and hes only 7 months old and 22 pounds. I don't see how a child 35 pounds could fit in this with the straps being so short that they are. Very disappointed with my purchase and I have to go purchase a new car seat. I purchased this from target and they cannot help me because I had the car seat longer than 90 days. I tried contacting manufacture and no luck.
