A: Thank you for contacting us, as I look into the item it shows that the "fitted head support distributes the pressure on skull evenly, ideal for keeping baby's head nice and round and prevent from plagiocephaly." It does not state if the item can be placed in a bassinet or not.

My son will be two weeks in a couple days and so far he loves this pillow. If it's not in the bassinet he screams. It's portable and easy to clean. I love just being able to throw it in the washer with his clothes and be done. My son is a preemie so the leg cushion doesn't quite fit yet so he still spits up but hopefully it will get better when he gets a little bigger. He had a flat spot on the one side of his head at birth, but the pillow has actually helped starting to smooth it out. So far it also has not caused any bald patches. I definitely recommend.

My newborn sleeps ten times better and safer. No more accidental rolls to the side, inching towards the bassinet walls. He had a sounder sleep the moment we set him on it. Im so happy with this purchase. I bought a second the very next day. Totally worth the money!

I was contemplating on this because I wasnt sure if I was having my baby natural or by c-section. And it was c-section, so we got the bed and it worked out great! Our babys head stayed round. No molding manually. And hell definitely not need the helmet later on.
