It is not formulated for foliar spraying, so we don’t recommend using it as a leaf spray. Applying it to the soil ensures your plants get the nutrients safely and effectively.

Wow. I understand it’s fertilizer, which is usually associated with an unpleasant odor, but if you want to smell literal poop in a bottle, I’d suggest buying this product. I gagged. Real talk. That said, I’ll keep you posted on its efficacy and whether it positively impacts my plants. Stay tuned.

Horrible Smell
This liquid plant food smells horrific. Literally like you are in a porti-potty. The bad thing is that the smell is so strong that even when standing next to my plants, I couldn't stand the scent. I had to pour out all the water from my pots and wash my lyca. I gave this away.

Helped my stunted monstera put out a new leaf
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I tried using this for my propagated plants, but it turned the water brown and smelled fishy. Works much better in soil because once it absorbs, you can’t really smell it. Be careful when pouring because it can stain, so wipe it up immediately if you spill it. It clearly works, because my monstera hadn’t put out any new leaves in the two months since I got it, but as soon as I used this stuff, it put out a new leaf. My pothos is growing like crazy now, too.

TLC For My Plants

I followed the directions to mix the recommended solution amount with water and fed all of my plants. The directions are very simple, and there were no adverse effects to the plants. Still too early for the full effects but I feel this is helping them. it’s cost effective for the amount you need to make a batch and you just water your plants as usual. So happy Influenster offered this plant food at the right time for my plants.

Terrible smell, effective fertilizer
I have used this fertilizer on every one of my houseplants including my water propagations. Everything grows like crazy with this fertilizer, but I can't get past the smell. I put a very small amount in my water propagations (about a quarter of the dilution it calls for when watering) and it STUNK!!! I put up with the smell until a nasty film built up on the top of the water and I was unable to sleep in the same room as the smell. Two stars instead of one just because this stuff really does work (my monstera grew five new leaves this week), but hold your breath using this stuff and maybe try watering your plants at a time when you won't be home for a bit Note: my bottle has not bloated like many of you have mentioned, so I don't think there's anything bacterial

It smells HORRIBLE like sewage! Now my house smells! Can’t find expiration date on bottle. Maybe I’ll use on outdoor plants since I paid $12 for this.
