I've always bought these in the past for cookies as well as making candies, like fudge and clusters. I've never had an issue. This batch was quite different. The chocolate chips melted into a clump, rather than smooth, and I did not over heat it. Now, I have to throw it out. Such a waste! I will no longer be buying these for candy making.

The butterscotch chips are hit-or-miss. Some bags tasted like rich butterscotch, but my last two purchases have ZERO butterscotch flavor and have both had a white film on the chips themselves. Almost as if they’re white chocolate chips in a butterscotch disguise. I don’t think I’ll buy these again.
