The burlwood base has an elegant, classic look to it and the gold metal accents catch the light beautifully without being flashy. The linen colored shade has a great texture up close and when the lamp is on, it softens a light perfectly, giving the whole room a warm, cozy glow. The lamp is pretty large so it does not just blend into the background. It makes a statement and pulls the space together. Despite its substantial size, assembling it was simple. It took less than a minute and the shade sits straight and secure without any adjustments needed. The materials feel solid and well made. Nothing about the lamp feels cheap or flimsy. It can fit nicely on a side table by a couch (which is where I am using it) or on a desk, anywhere really! It puts off a really nice, warm glow and brightens up a space without being overpowering. I got a lot of compliments on it already. It can fit in with all kinds of decor. It is lightweight and easy to move around so you can change the location easily too. It feels built to last. The woven shade creates a soft warm glow that instantly makes the room look more inviting. This has been a hot topic at my house when family and friends come over they rave about how versatile this lamp is. You can also, adjust the brightness to tone soft amber lighting or something a bit brighter depends on which room you place this beauty in. It feel real sturdy and well made overall. I truly recommend this lamp to all. It also has a dimmable light with a rotary switch that lets you easily customize your light level. Plus you have a 5 foot cord that gives you freedom to choose where you want to place you lamp.

It has a really cool, mid-century modern vibe and it fits really well in my living room with the browns and gold accents. The craftsmanship of the wood looks truly unique and interesting. The lamp was packaged extremely well and very secure which I greatly appreciated. I do recommend opening the box outside due to the foam packaging going everywhere.
