I used to love Banana Boat after sun lotion but the formula has changed. It is so watery that I need to use the pump over a sink because it shoots out like a faucet. I have read that they are going back to the old formula and I would like to know when. But for now very disappointed…..

Bought two bottles about a month ago. The first bottle was ok. The second was so watery I threw it out. This is not the first time this has happened. Found out they changed the formula so if you’re lucky you might get a good bottle. If it sits too long? It gets extremely watery. Kind of tired of wasting money on this product. They say they changed the formula back to the original. So when will this be available and all the crap bottles be off the shelves?

I have used Banana Boat’s After Sun Lotion for I think over 20 years as my everyday lotion. I used to love it, but now it’s yellow water. At first, I thought it was a bad batch I purchased. Nope… bought another bottle and it is liquid as well. Very bummed out and disappointed.

Used to use it as a kid as my grandmas and 2 weeks ago I bought it for myself and kids. We love it! By far my favorite after sun product. Leaves the skin feeling really hydrated and soft!

I bought this last week and I am very unsatisfied. It is running, it won’t absorb into the skin. I ended up having to wipe most of it off, and the scent is not the same. I have used this product for years and I would not recommend this product at all.

The resulting new formula was slightly thinner than the old formula and we discovered that the new formula thins out even more over time and that has led to some consumer dissatisfaction. Please understand that the current product is safe to use and there are no issues with it except that it might have a slightly thinner consistency than before. We have immediately started producing the old formula and that formula should now be in market.

I thought I was buying the old formula when bought a new bottle today until I got home and realized that they once again changed the formula and it’s back to a watery, thinner consistency. Bring back the old formula!

So a year or so ago y'all changed the formula and people lost their minds. You changed it back (good move). Now the formula changed again, And to no surprise, it sucks. It's runny. Doesn't smell the same. Doesn't moisturize or sink in well. The ingredients are different, and it looks like it contains less coconut oil....why can't you leave a good product alone?

The new formula is runny and horrible. I thought the company had made a statement saying it was bringing back the old formula. Where is it? I had a bottle of the old and one of the new. I took a photo of each ingredient label so I know not to be fooled into buying the new awful product.

First, let me explain. I have been using Aloe After Sun lotion as my daily body moisturizer for at least 25 years. The old formula lasted all day, didn't clash with my perfume, and didn't separate in the bottle. This new formula is so thin, a have to be strategic to get it to my legs/arms. It also has a new off-putting scent. As you can see from reviews all over the web, the new formula isn't beung received well....At All. They say they are "bringing back the original formula". Where??? I keep checking every store I go into. All that's on shelves is the new formula. Here's a suggestion, Banana Boat: Please do an exchange program. We could send in our bottles and you could send us the new "original" formula bottles. Also remove and destroy the bottles currently in store inventory. You certainly would then have a whole nation of happy customers!
