Beautiful Green Goo of the Gods.
As a fellow sheet of paper, I often find myself burning to a crisp when my skin even senses the sun. DON’T USE THIS ON YOUR FACE
I had gotten sunburned on my left cheek on my face and decided to use just a little bit of this gel and it felt good for a minute and then burned. Despite usually being very diligent about what I use on my face, I gave it a try since it said it was safe for the face. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary until 3 days later when my left cheek was breaking out. This was not the typical type for my skin, there were little red bumps/ closed comedones and tiny white heads. It was definitely the gel because the area I was breaking out was only where I applied the gel. I will say I have sensitive skin, but even if you don't, I would strongly advise you to not put this on your face. The ingredient list should've been enough of a warning for me.

Some of y’all don’t read well. It’s not a sunscreen, it’s meant for the sunburn you get. That’s why it’s called AFTER sun gel. If y’all are using this as a sunblock, it’s no wonder you’re getting badly burnt.

denatured alcohol should not be in a gel for sunburns!
this gel only made my sunburn worse. after days diligently applying which only resulted in more pain, i checked the ingredients. this gel has alcohol. this is a terrible product and i am disappointed that it’s advertised as a helpful solution to sunburns. this genuinely only made my sunburn worse and more painful.

NEVER AGAIN
I’ve probably only ever written one other review in my life but PLEASE listen to the negative reviews . I usually always read reviews first but this was given to me when I got burnt and didn’t have any . The first day I was completely fine however the 3rd day this stuff made me unbearably itchy . It’s been NINE hrs since I’ve applied it to my burn , two showers later and it’s STILL itchy . Save yourself from this feeling and try something else .

I wouldnt say it doenst work!
I’m not sure if this was normal or not but it did make me peel. This was my first time getting sun burned but I must say I used this a few times and that layer of sunburn peeled away and I started to feel better and get my color back. I was heeled within a week.

A must for sunburns
This stuff is an absolute must if you develop a sunburn. It feels so nice and cooling when applied and keeps burn skin hydrated. We have been using this brand of aloe gel for years and always have a bottle on hand.
