Mixed age play not very possible
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old son and I wanted to love this game. I love how portable it is with the convenient pouch set-up. Instructions were simple enough as well. There just wasn't a way for him and I to really engage in the side-by-side way the game play is set up. He struggled a lot more when he got stuck with tougher letters. It looked more fun than it ended up being to play with family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bananagram is a very fun game. It is pretty fast paced. Similar yet different than Scabble. You get tiles, form intersecting words, but not on a big board, you just make your own grid. Play is simultaneously, no turns, everyone just keeps going until someone wins! Fun terms to use, Split, Peel and Bananas! Split - gets the games started! Peel - when someone runs out of tiles, forcing everyone to get more tiles! Bananas - when someone used up all the letters! Soo fun, but can get very competitive!

Makes you really use your brain

This how I learned how to spell and come up with words and able to get off the video games sometimes and just bond through playing this game. All the pieces can fill in the banana package and use to clean up as well.

My ten year old son said he plays this game often at school with his classmates, so he was ecstatic to have one home to play whenever he likes. The setup is super easy. Each piece made well, not like some other brands whose materials are cheaply made. You can tell it's going to last for years to come. The instructions were a breeze to follow, and you can not beat the price point. It is affordable and completely worth it.
