Batiste Original Dry Shampoo

I used to use the dry shampoo for blonde hair but most stores have stopped carrying it for some reason. It had been a while since I needed to buy dry shampoo, so went I went back, I noticed the bottles had all shrunk in size. I ended up getting this one. The dry shampoo works great and doesn’t smell too strong, which is great, but sad it’s still expensive and even smaller :(

Man, I remember even just a couple of years ago. This was like 5 bucks. It does absorb well just not used friendly so you will have to kind of work it in well. I mean for its price range it's good. The scent goes away quickly.

Works great but every time I buy a can a few things change 1.) Price goes up 2.) Can gets bigger 3.) Ounces goes down! Makes no sense but the average buyer would never notice because of the massive can and the fine print.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many dry shampoos, because honestly I hate washing my hair. This is the best dry shampoo I have come across I have tried the expensive ones from the more expensive stores and nothing compares to this.

It's ok, but would not buy again. Smell is not great and leaves my hair dry and a lot of white behind. I do have thin hair, so maybe it just didn't work for my hair type.

I have dark blonde hair and it works great for me. I usually wash my hair every other day because it gets oily so quickly but this dry shampoo extends that hair wash to every 3-4 days easy!

I love this dry shampoo. It smells so fresh without being an overwhelming or annoying scent, and it really works well to refresh my hair. It does leave a white cast at first, but it is easily to brush or shake out. My favorite way to use this is before curling my hair with a curling iron. My hair doesn’t like to hold a curl, and this is the only thing that works! I can go through cans somewhat quickly, which is the only downside. Otherwise, this is a product I repurchase again and again!

Instant results, smells amazing

i've been using batiste products for over a year now, and can say that this is the only dry shampoo product i've used that actually makes my hair look clean! admitadly, there is a bit of a curve to it though.. first put a towel around your shoulders so you don't get white dust on all your clothes! then you want to evenly coat the hair with the spray, and then massage it into the scalp before brush/combing it through your hair. after brushing, then use a dry towel (i use the one i draped on my shoulders while spraying/brushing) to remove any remaining residue from the hair. this leaves my hair looking clean and not greasy for about 6-8hrs or so - enough to get through a day. after a while my hair starts to clump a bit, and a light combing will refresh things for the rest of the day. expect it to last for less time if it's hot and you are sweating. the downsides: you will get residue on your brush/comb, combing using a plastic comb will cause fly aways (i got a wooden comb and it works much better!), this product WILL cause extreme dandruff after a day or two. brush it out, shake it out whatever. if you can't take the time to wash, this is just what you have to deal with... overall it is a fantastic product once you learn to use it correctly, and once you accept the shortcomings. nothing is going to be as good as washing your hair, but this will get you through a day in a pinch. btw the travel size is quite small, i have medium long hair (to my shoulder blades) and i get about 3 uses out of the travel bottle and that's it. tsa will take the large bottle, be warned :P

Great product! Love this dry shampoo.

I usually wash my hair every other day to not strip my hair too much. The Batiste is great for those in-between days when I have some oil buildup. Don't really have issues with white residue.

Left white but if you hold it far from you head and spray lighter you can prevent it more.
