Never received. They charged my card. When I tried to contact about shopping because it hadn’t been shipped when it said it was to be delivered. They then ‘shipped’ it. Then they kept pushing days out. The tracking was misleading. Never received the product. Bummed I ordered this off of Target.

Issues Right Out of the Box
I bought the Bell & Howell Startastic Solar Laser Projector and followed every step to get it working. I charged it with the USB cable for over 24 hours, put fresh batteries in the remote, and even tested it in complete darkness as suggested. The remote still doesn’t turn it on at all. The only way it lights up is by pressing the red button on the bottom, and it shuts off after a second every time. Really disappointed because I was hoping to use this for holiday decorations, but it just doesn’t stay on.

Returning asap. Worked one time and now when I press the red button it turns on for a second then stops. I charged it overnight inside so I know it’s charged. So sad because the one time it worked, it looked great on our house at night.

We charged it for a couple days with the USB and the remote & everything worked perfectly. We set it up and left it out over one night and it hasn’t turned back on since. The remote doesn’t turn it on at all, and if I press the red button on the bottom it turns on for a second and turns right back off.

Super cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so cute. We put in on our chicken coop to test out and it it was instant decoration. We’re going to leave it out in December so it’ll be great ambience. Super easy to set up, just needed to let it sit out for the solar to charge it. It was bright and covered the whole coop and run.

Cool idea, but not a great design

The instructions mentioned that the solar aspect might be difficult on cloudy days, but that wasn't the issue I encountered. We had a nice sunny day when I installed this product, and it was able to get plenty of juice. The issue was more that once it actually turned on, the display was... well, not much. It didn't throw light very far, and honestly looked pretty sad.
