Unfortunately, this didn’t work for my bug bites. I developed a bad reaction from mosquito bites and was hoping that this would help relieve the pain and itch. Unfortunately it did not.

Bit by a spider

Al - 6 months ago
I was bit by a spider in the groin . it was a rather scary experience because there was a lot of redness and itching on the site and it just kept swelling. I had to do something for the itching and bought this from the local store. It didn't help with the itching even in the slightest. I ended up in UC where they had to give me steroids and antibiotics. they recommended to ice the area which helped more imo. Maybe works better on allergies than bites and stings.

Itchy and annoyed - 7 months ago
The applicator has a terrible design. It’s a partially exposed sponge that requires a LOT of pressure to release a single drop of the solution. This means you need to jam the stick against your bug bite in order to apply the product which always ends up irritating the bite and making it worse. As an adult it’s annoying to have to basically poke and prod at your already itchy bug bite so I couldn’t imagine having to use this on a young child. Often times I have to press on the sponge with my finger to release liquid and apply it onto the bite with my finger instead of the stick itself. If you have a bite on your shin for example, there isn’t a hard enough surface to press against to extract the solution unless you want to jam the stick against your bone. Even after applying the solution to the bite, I don’t feel much relief. You’re much better off buying the cream or the cooling spray. I like the spray the best as it’s easy to apply and the relief is immediate but sadly my local store was out of stock so I had to purchase this instead. Would not recommend.

I thought this might be a good option since mosquitoes have been bad lately. But the relief it gives is very very temporary. It does form a sort of sticky, almost bandaid-like barrier if you’re a scratcher, but doesn’t do much for itch or pain. I expected more- I’m taking it back.

Applicator sucks. You really have to work at it to get product out. Doesn’t even help the itch go away very well. You’re MUCH better off getting AfterBite.

Ok in theory, not in practice

Allistar501 - 8 months ago
The item shipped was expired. I don't know if that's the reason why, but it seemed difficult to get out the Benadryl and I had to push hard on their bug bites which made my 2 and 4 year old a little upset. Idk if it would work better if it was unexpired. I think they should use a rolling ball dispenser rather than a little sponge that needs applied pressure.
