A: Unfortunately no, the bottom piece is finished only on one side, leaving the bottom raw and unpainted. However, propping up in a corner may work, covering the bottom within the corner.

For $20 by the IKEA one. This one is cheap not perfect and came damaged, but it’s also extremely low to the ground and not as big of shelves as IKEA and looks better quality than this one.

It was very easy to assemble but looks incredibly cheap. It feels sturdy but the screw holes along the top of the bookshelf are very large and obvious. They give you stickers to cover it but they cave in and it looks even worse. I wouldn't buy it again
