We love the Betty Crocker Delights Lemon cake mix for than all the other flavors put together. I make it for every memorial service, and bridal or baby shower at church. I make them for our police department and for friends and family. But now I can't find it anywhere!! Where can I buy it?

Best Lemon
I’ve tried a lot brands with lemon mixes. This is by far the best one. The cupcakes are moist and stay that way, even after being in the fridge. They’re quick to bake too—13 minutes and they’re perfect!

Shrinking amount in box, Same Price
Boxed cake mix used to be 18.25 oz but they dropped it down a few years ago to 15.25oz. Now this brand has dropped it again to 13.25oz. Yet the price has stayed the same or even risen. I use this mix for a quick cake mix cookie and now it is faster to just make it from scratch rather than buy 2 boxes and measure them out. I will be sticking to Duncan Hines for now since they haven't dropped below 15.25 oz yet.

Box is Smaller (in oz) but still good
These are always wonderful BUT if you are using the mix to make cookies OR ANYTHING other than the recipe on the back of the box, keep in mind that these USED TO be 15.25 oz and are now 13.25 oz. I did not realize that before I had already made cookies out of them and they turned out not as great as the last time because I did not adjust my recipe.

Artificial lemon flavoring is overpowering. It makes it taste chemicals. It lingers on the palate. The moisture is good, and good crumb. Flavoring needs to be natural or not as much artificial.

This is all great and the lemon cake tastes great but I will never buy a product that contains sodium aluminum phosphate. You should know better than to use it in any food product. It leaves a bitter aftertaste and aluminum should not be consumed by anyone in any form. It is toxic to life.

I love this lemon cake. It’s super moist every time. You can add fresh blueberries to the mix and make it into a lemon blueberry cake which is my fav. It’s always on the cheaper side, and it uses less eggs and oil than other boxed cake mixes.
