Yummy for a birthday cake
I love to make angel food cake for my December birthday and frost it with a cocoa whipped cream in layers and ofc pile on a bunch of crushed peppermint and candies lol. This cake is always good and as long as I cook it in a dedicated pan (no grease anywhere) it rises well. I like to cut it with a serrated knife, slicing it like a saw so it comes out pretty. Price is a little high but if I tried to make it from scratch the ingredients would be soo expensive.

What is going on Betty Crocker? First, we changed the ounces and now, we’ve changed the ingredient amounts with not a word on front of the box of this new change. I was making a cake with 2 “older” boxes and a brand new box of mix. Afterwards, I noticed they had different oil amounts. What gives?! For those of us who like to add some ingredients to make a nicer cake, you’re making it more and more difficult to stay loyal to a brand that cuts ingredients and raises prices. So disappointed

Who is being paid off?!
Every review is the same… amount of product has Ben reduced and it has affected the quality in a bad way. Yet the article has this at the top rated mix! What gives? I just use the mix as a starting point and do my own thing (milk instead of water, butter instead of oil, a healthy dose of top quality vanilla extract) so it really doesn’t affect me too much but I am disappointed in the company for what they are doing all in the name of maximizing profits. And you as a reviewer/writer of the article are supporting them.

Target Greed Strikes Again
Sooo sick of Target’s greed. You changed the ounces but the add in ingredients are all the same resulting in a super thin product. Not to mention the price was never reduced to reflect the smaller portion size. I’ll continue shopping elsewhere for the prices you charge.

I bought the butter pecan cake mix. Followed the box directions. Cake was about half the size of the cakes I rember from several years ago. It was also very dry. Very disappointed. I will NO LONGER be purchasing your mixes.
