Yummy for a birthday cake
I love to make angel food cake for my December birthday and frost it with a cocoa whipped cream in layers and ofc pile on a bunch of crushed peppermint and candies lol. This cake is always good and as long as I cook it in a dedicated pan (no grease anywhere) it rises well. I like to cut it with a serrated knife, slicing it like a saw so it comes out pretty. Price is a little high but if I tried to make it from scratch the ingredients would be soo expensive.

Quantities are getting less in our Products
The quantity in the box is way less than 6 months ago, I had a box in my cupboard and noticed how light the box is, I opened both boxes and took out both contents and noticed the new box is 1/4 less than the 6 month old box

Dry, Dense
I'm new to this gluten free thing so I was happy when I found this cake mix. I made the cake for my husbands birthday and while it didn't taste awful it was as dry as a popcorn fart (and that's dry). It is so dense, the next day it was almost impossible to cut. I will try other brands and maybe I'll try this again and add some other liquid to add moisture. So unless you like dry, dense cake and don't know how to finesse gf mixes I would suggest staying away

I LOVE this cake mix. First, I highly recommend mixing all the wet ingredients first, then slowly mix the dry ingredients. Mix very well on high speed, then let it sit for 5 minutes. Grease your pans, turn on your oven. I add a couple extra dashes of vanilla. I love it.

Some ingredients are chemicals
Do yourself a favor, google a simple yellow cake and buy those ingredients instead. This not only have ingredients you can't pronounce but corn syrup in it.

Less mix I'm box
Betty Crocker has put less mix in their boxes, and now my recipes that require cake mix don't work. Why doesn't Target sell Duncan Hines white cake mix anymore? They need to go back to selling more Duncan Hines cake mix.

Best gf cake mix
The absolute best gluten free cake mix without a doubt. It’s free of many other allergen which affect our family and the taste is top notch! We’ve used for baking per instructions, used as a wacky cake mix base, and dump cake with pie filling. Highly recommend!

Shrinkflation at it's worse
Betty Crocker cake mixes used to be 16.5oz; I have one in my cupboard. Now, due to corporate greed they are only 13.25oz but the ingredients you add to them hasn't changed. The result is a less appetizing texture and of course a much smaller cake. At least for now, Duncan Hines is still at the original size of 16.5oz.

Dry- did not taste like a cupcake
Very dry and consistency/taste was more like GF bread, didn’t taste like a cupcake. I followed the directions on the box and even used chocolate frosting 🧁 The mix would maybe be better/edible to add some bananas, nuts or blueberries and bake a small loaf of bread.

Delicious!!!
I am picky about chocolate cake and this is a great chocolate cake mix. I used melted butter and milk instead of oil and water, and that makes a very moist and light chocolate cake. The chocolate flavour is great and it isn’t too sweet. It reminds me of Japanese chocolate cake. It’s so good and I’ll definitely buy this again!!
