Old and Stale?
My family loves brownies, and often times we use another brand. But my kids wanted to try these. We made them per the instructions and when we ate them, the walnuts tasted like they were old and they were stale. So very, very, very disappointed.. I think we might be going back to our other brand.

My husband accidentally added 1 cup of water instead of 1/4. They turned out more like a brownie cake - and now that’s how we make them every time.

We have been making these for years. We normally love them but something changed they were awful. We decided to make another box just in case it was us but they were just as awful. They don’t taste like chocolate. They were chewy in a bad way.

Bland and plain
These don’t taste like brownies. I’m used to getting regular “milk chocolate” brownies and these have no chocolate flavor super boring and bland flavor. I got them for the nuts in it but I rather buy nuts separately and a regular box of brownies separate. The brownies were super hard on the edges too I’ve never had this happen before.

We were looking forward to these "brownies" with walnuts and we're severely disappointed. I am uncomfortable calling these brownies. They barely taste like chocolate and have an awful dusty taste, they didn't have a fudge texture at all and had a dry texture. I feel like I wasted time and money on this product I'm really rlreluctant to call them brownies. There headed for the trash.

I’ve loved and purchased this brownie batter for years. As of recently ( this year) the last 2 boxes I purchased were terrible. I don’t know if ingredients were changed in the mix. Honestly I’ll never purchase again. Cooked first box to accordingly. The right size of pan, ingredients, cooking instructions. Each time the center does not cook. It’s so gooey. So This time I cooked until the center was somewhat cooked ( inserting a toothpick to pull out clean) it was probably 15-20 min past the cooking recommendation and it’s still a gooey center, with burnt edges. It’s so gross! Over the years I’ve purchased several boxes cooked with zero problem and really enjoyed the brownies. However I will not be wasting anymore money or time on these brownies.
