[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My increased problem of a painfully-aching lower back and muscle spasms while standing, stooping, and bending over is due to a slight spine misalignment that has gradually developed and worsened over several years. I take lessons in an old-school Okanawa Karate and did not want to stop, but I also dislike taking medicine if I can avoid it and decided to try the Biofreeze XL Menthol Pain Relieving Patches instead. The patches are easy to place on the affected part of my back and stay securely as I stand, sit, bend over, stoop, twist, turn, lift, and lean sideways throughout my day, including practice and class. The soothing cooling menthol provides fast and continuous pain relief for several hours. The patches come off easily too with just a smooth light pull and no sticky residue left behind. These are now an essential item to keep in my workout bag and in our home medicine cabinet.

I have used the roll on bio freeze before, but I prefer the patches because there is no mess and no dry time. They stay in place and provide lasting pain relief.

He uses these in conjunction with his chiropractic care in between. The extra large patch size really covered the area he needed. It stayed on with no problem coming off during the night. He moves around a lot. They are easy to apply also.

I use the roll on bio-freeze at home but that doesn’t always work when I away from the house. I love the patches because I can put them on & not have to worry about the pain. These will always be in our medicine cabinet from now on. I would definitely recommend these Bio-freeze patches to everyone I know.

I have been using these for about a week and they have been helping with the pain. They stick well to the area and did not come off till I took them off. Had very little smell also.

The patches stay on strong and don’t come off easy. It doesn’t take that long for them to start working .. I felt relief in about 10–15 mins and lasted about 6 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the gel BioFreeze before but never the patches. The patches are thin with a sticky side to put wherever you need on your body. In this case, I had a pain along my side, so I thought I would try this patch. It's very easy to remove the backing and place it, but it is cold! I had to hold my breath to slap it on, LOL! Maybe it was the area I was trying to put it, but anyways, I finally applied the patch. I ended up with one corner folded in and decided not to fight with getting it apart, once I had it in place. I'm sure it was the area I was putting it, and I had no help in getting it applied. I felt a slight tingle, but nothing that caused me an issue. After several hours, I noticed the pad was kind of bunched up. Again, I'm sure it was because of where it was applied and it might not have done that on my back or shoulder. I never did find relief in that area and removed the pad easily later on. The pain is better today, and I think I just slept twisted or something, so maybe it was something that the pain patch couldn't help. I will be giving it another try when I have a sore neck or back. I would recommend that if you have a sore back or arm that you give these patches a try to see if you get relief. The patches are long enough to cover a large surface and individually wrapped. They would be easy to take along with you anytime and leave them in a locker or desk.
