Don’t buy doesn’t last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a few months ago and it’s already broken. The auto clean button popped out and water leaked everywhere. It will not work anymore. I will have to see if I still have the receipt. Disappointed in the quality.

Works great on stubborn jean wrinkles!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ironing is a must, especially my jeans. My last iron was shaped like a dumbbell, making it heavy and awkward to hold. It also didn’t get hot enough so I would have to do multiple passes over the same areas. This Black+Decker Xpress is way easier to manage and worked great on my jeans! I love that I can use tap water and don’t need to buy distilled water jugs. It also has a button to pull the retractable cord back into the storage compartment. I really needed a new iron and this one is great!

Perfect for many occasions

Broken after a year
While using the iron, the auto-clean button unexpectedly popped off, and now it continuously steams and cleans without stopping. The iron was underwhelming from the start, and with the button now broken, it's completely unusable. I'm quite disappointed, especially since my previous iron lasted over 10 years without any issues.

Great iron!

It feels nice in my hand. It’s not to heavy. Heated up quickly. What more could you ask for from an iron? Or right a retractable cord! It’s perfect.

Personal heat press
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried out the Black & Decker Xpress Steam Cord Reel Iron, and overall it’s pretty handy. The retractable cord is a nice touch and helps with tidiness when I’m done. The iron heats up fast and the steam blasts are strong enough to zap most wrinkles. My only gripe is that the cord reel sometimes gets stuck and the steam tends to leak a little after long use. I used it as a heat press to transfer some items to my kids T-shirts and it was successful

It heats up fast, glides really smoothly, and the steam power is strong enough to get out those stubborn wrinkles without much effort. I also love the cord reel feature — no more messy cords all over the place. The nonstick soleplate makes ironing super easy, and it doesn’t snag on any fabric. Plus, the blue color looks sleek! Overall, it’s reliable, easy to use, and makes ironing a little less of a chore.

Best Iron! Great Quality!

The water is easy to put in for steam but had a lid so it doesn’t go out on clothes if you move the iron too quickly. Heats up very quickly. I love it.

This iron is terrible
This iron is terrible. I bought this iron six weeks ago. Last week, while it was heating up, the self-cleaning button and a spring popped out by themselves and water spilled out of the tank. They wouldn’t go back in and the iron can’t produce steam. It also didn’t get very hot and didn’t produce much steam in the first place.

Do not recommend
Purchased in December 2024. Used once or twice a month. Today while ironing a shirt the AUTO CLEAN button and spring popped off the iron. I picked it up off the shirt and now had something sticky on my hand from it. No, it doesn’t just pop back on. Really B+D? Six months with minimal use! Cheap product. My last iron lasted over 20 years.
