Makes for a smooth cup ( not silky like Dunkin, but smooth) while still having some richness and depth. I prefer Dark roasts, particularly those with toffee notes. This Dark roast is strong enough to wake you up without bitter after taste. Compared to Pete’s Major Dickinson (another go to for me) this one’s flavor is overall less smoky, more nutty. Some of the most rancid, unbalanced coffee I’ve ever tried. Highly unrecommended, featuring notes of putrid rotting light fruit, medium acidity and the lingering aroma of ammonia.

A fave in our household! Used to buy Metropolis but couldn't find the perfect blend of caramel/smooth yet strong flavor. Until I tried this! Even my dad who came to visit from NY loves it so much he grabbed an unopened one from my pantry to take back home 🤣 I've noticed even when I leave the grounds in my coffeemaker at night which is timed to brew it in the morning, it still gives strong flavor and no staleness. Quite expensive, but I grabbed a bunch when it went on sale.
