    Not great for boys

    Potty training my son with this was terrible. He could sit on it fine but even with the shield pee gets in between the cushion and the plastic and spills out everywhere when you lift it. I wish I would’ve gotten a seat that was just one piece. Other than that it does its job and probably would work great for a girl.

    Don't buy this

    There’s no grip on the bottom of the seat so it slides ALL over the actual toilet seat. It’s incredibly dangerous, they are lucky they don’t have a lawsuit yet from a kid falling off & hitting their head.

    Not ideal for boys

    Not ideal for boys. With the splash guard the pee gets in between the foam and plastic layers leading to pee drips when hung up and frequent cleanings to avoid smell. Because of this I am choosing to purchase another seat that is all one piece with the splash guard built in. I do not recommend this product, at least for boys.

    we like the munchkin one we have much better!!!

    Missing splash guard

    My kid loved the seat and it was plenty padded and fit our standard toilet fine but came missing the splash guard. For a boy it’s a necessity! Thankfully target is sending me another at no charge but it pushes back our progress a few days

    Great with one flaw

    Love this potty seat so much but there is a design flaw. Sometimes when your little one has an emergency which feels like all the time, urine can get in between the seam of the padded seat and the plastic part it snaps onto (the handle part). I recommend taking it apart and disinfecting regularly. Also DON’T get rid of the splash guard; boy or girl you will need it.

    Not good for a boy

    Not a good option for a boy. Pee gets stuck between the foam top and the plastic rim underneath. When you pick up the seat to hang it on the hook, pee drips everywhere. We have to open the whole thing, rinse it, lysol it and leave it apart to air dry. Awful design.
