Sprinkle & brush on inside surface of an uncooked pie shell use a pastry brush on bottom and sides of pie shells I distribute the cornstarch for more even browning and flaky crusts. Pie isn’t completely eaten? cover & refrigerate the bottom shell won’t be soggy the next day. I have used it for any kind of filling even Quiche.

Great thickener!
I used just a teaspoon of this starch today to thicken my spicy Asian inspired sauce for my noodles. It thickened better than expected and had no starchy flavor.

Great for sauces
I’ve never been a fan of using cornstarch for sauces (I prefer to use flour), but tried this right after I bought it and it worked great! I’ll be using this more often in sauces and as a thickening agent for fruit compotes. Definitely recommend! Resealable bag is handy for storage, too.
