    Taste great, cupcakes overflowed

    Followed the instructions, but these overflowed and we had to bake 12 minutes longer than instructions stated. They're not pretty, but they taste fine. Not sure where we went wrong??

    Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear you had this issue! Filling cupcake liners more than halfway to two-thirds full can cause them to overflow. Most batters will rise significantly, so sticking to two-thirds full helps keep the batter contained. Also, if the oven is too hot, the outside of the cupcakes will set before the inside is fully baked, causing the centers to push up and spill over. If the oven is not hot enough, the batter will rise before the cupcakes start to set. You can use an oven thermometer to check accuracy and preheat to the recommended temperature.     Such a welcome change from the overtly sweet cake mixes

    I think I just found my favorite chocolate cake mix. Biggest win about this mix for me is due to me being pre-diabetic, I can have this once in a while and it's not overtly sweet. I don't have issues with gluten, but the gluten-free mix makes me feel less full for sure. Also, due to having high cholesterol, I use oatmilk and egg replacement for the eggs and the dairy required in the recipe and it STILL comes out great. LOVE. IT.

    GF Chocolate Cake

    I made this cake last night using 2 packages of the mix and baked it in a 9x13 pan. I topped it with chocolate cream cheese frosting. It was so good! Everyone loved how light and fluffy it was. It's got great chocolate flavor. I loved it and will make it again.

    BIG FLOP IF MAKING CUPCAKES

    I'm so disappointed! I followed the directions exactly on the package to make gluten free chocolate cupcakes and they were a big flop. The cupcakes spread on the top of the muffin pan and stuck together. I had to bake them for 30 minutes in order to get the middles to set with toothpick test. As you can imagine, had difficulty getting them out of the muffin pan, even having used muffin papers. When cool and removed from the pan the tops stared coming off. I followed the instructions on the back of the package exactly. Only thing I can think of is I live at 5000 feet, should I have done something different for high altitude? I have other packages of this mix to use and would like some suggestions on how to make this work.

    Yummy for Bundt cake

    I love this cake mix. I add a package of chocolate pudding and make this scrumptious dense Bundt cake with cream cheese frosting. I love this cake mix for easy directions and easy blending. Amazing for German chocolate layered cake. This is an official must have in my pantry.

    I love the chocolate cake mix, it tastes just like a regular piece of cake and I feel satisfied. Some gluten-free baked goods don’t taste good but Bob’s Red Mill is gluten-free and tastes great.

    The best cake mix.

    This is my favorite cake mix. It has become the only chocolate cake mix that I buy. It is easy to mix up, holds together well, is moist and not crumbly like some others, and it has a really good flavor to it.

    I used this mix to make a 2 layer birthday cake. The combined height of the finished cake was less than 3 inches. It looked more like a tart than a cake. Disappointing.

    Real Chocolate Lovers

    My daughter stumbled onto to this cake mix and ever since then we've been hooked. We're not gluten free shoppers but this cake is rich and moist with good ingredients ! It truly is the best cake mix we've ever eaten..... Organic ingredients would send this over the top !

    Best chocolate cake mix I have tried all of the gluten free and this cake is so moist and so chocolate I love it I bake it and serve to family and friends everyone loves and has no idea it’s gluten free. Best chocolate mix !!

    Amazing taste! I’ll admit I always add pudding but the base is there! It’s not gritty, it doesn’t taste like corn. I’d almost say better than normal chocolate cake. My celiac son is a major fan
