Bob's Red Mill Old Fashioned Rolled Oats Whole Grain - Case of 4/32 oz

This is the worst oatmeal I have ever bought! I have tried making overnight oats and regular oatmeal and it’s the same result each time. It does not absorb the water or milk and is HARD. It’s extremely frustrating and a waste of time and money.

Love the organic oatmeal , however the apple cinnamon has a strong salty unpleasant tastes. Simply stated it's to salty and takes away the cinnamon apple flavor. Reduce the sodium

Great start to the day with an extra kick

I like Bob's Rolled oats. Never sticky! I purchase 2 bags of a favorite -Rolled oats has a great versatility and can replace breadcrumbs fully or partially in cooking and baking. The most popular recipe is meatloaf, but I have made stuffed green bell peppers using oatmeal that was very good, but don't happen to have this recipe anymore. Another recipe I haven't yet tried is a 5 lb. Roast Chicken with stuffing of rolled oats. It is claimed to be kitchen tested. It uses 1 cup of each -diced celery and diced onion, 1/4 c. minced parsley, a med. garlic clove, 1/2 teasp. poultry seasoning or sage, and some chicken bullion pwdr. Optional 3 chopped mushrooms or small can. One cup rolled oats are toasted in a dry skillet on stovetop til golden browned and combined with everything else. Scrape fat and clean with water the interior and stuff the chicken loosely some in the neck and skewer. Bake slow 325 degrees breast side up about 2-1/2 to 3 hours on rack in pan. When done, temp is 180-185 degrees or leg of bird is soft and done. If anybody wants to try it, hope you do and it's a good one. post the results. Thanks.

I use these to make overnight oats. I put them in a mason jar with dried cherries, chopped walnuts, brown sugar, and almond milk. A great breakfast awaits.

I prefer old fashioned cooked oatmeal. I have eaten oatmeal since I was an infant. I am 75 years old now. I stopped eating oatmeal over thirty years ago... using a competitor's brand, due to new processing which gave me stomach and intestinal issues. Seven years ago I discovered Red Mill products and I started eating Red Mill old fashioned rolled oats , cooked on the stove, and have had no problems since.. I was a very happy woman as this had always been my "go to" food for breakfast and for times when I did have not felt well. My mother who recently passed at the age of 98 years and 4 months, enjoyed old fashioned cooked rolled oats every morning for breakfast with bananas and blueberries added. She was very conscious of eating healthy foods and this breakfast certainly aided her longevity.
