Q: Is this toothpaste safe to swallow?
A: Hi there, Thank you for reaching out. Boka Kids toothpaste is fluoride free and formulated with food grade flavors, but it is toothpaste designed to be used in accordance with its directions and should not be consumed or eaten like a food (even though our kids tell us that the flavors taste good enough to eat!).If your child swallows an incidental amount before or after brushing, our safety analyses do not anticipate any adverse effects and do not recommend that you need to take any further action. Still, we encourage you to teach your child to establish good brushing habits, including spitting out excess toothpaste after brushing.
