[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used Captain Jacks dust yet, but I buy the sprays each year. I like how this dust is easy to apply and spread without a lot of mess. Definitely don't do it on a windy day. So far its protecting my strawberry crop and I hope to keep the pests away and get to my strawberries in the Spring before they do!

It came very well packaged, the actual bottle also turns into your duster to get the product onto your plants which also came i to the fact that it was also very economical as i didnt have to buy a duster. Best of all it worked great, it got rid of the bugs without killing my plants.

I was having trouble this year with my pepper plants being attacked by bugs but a little sprinkle of this brew dust and they are gone! Super easy to use it had a shaker side so a few shakes and your plant is covered by this dust and protected. Fast acting too and now my plants look happy and healthy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time ever using something for my garden to help control bugs.I used it with my green onions and also had some different mints and basil, and I definitely noticed a reduction in the amount of bugs surrounding the plants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a variety of insects in my yard, but beetles are my main concern. Unfortunately, this product did not work on beetles at all. They are still out in full force, and even seem bigger than before. It did however kill off all of the other insects. It even works great on ants. The container makes application a simple task. There is enough for dozens of applications so this is a great value. It did not bother my pets at all Or my own allergies.

It describes how to apply it, how much to apply depending on what vegetation you have and how many times you can apply it so it is very simple. I did not notice and scent from the powder and it is a pretty fine powder. So far, I am seeing a decrease in bugs but it will take time to know for sure but so far so good. I would continue to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in hot and sunny Florida, and with that, comes a ton of different bugs and all kinds of weeds. Our veggie/herb garden can always use a little TLC to help with these two issues, and this product is definitely helpful. Now don’t get me wrong, this did not get rid of all the problems we have, but it also clearly states on the container what it helps eliminate. I’m sure some of our weeds and critters are not on that list. But wow, what a big difference we’ve seen since adding this! When I tell you the bugs are usually all over out veggies, I’m not kidding. It kind of gets to the point sometimes where you almost don’t want to eat the stuff after seeing that. Once we applied this stuff, we noticed a HUGE improvement in the bug population of the garden. The weeds have also subsided some. Seeing as how the bugs are my biggest issue, I’m very happy with this product. I feel safe using it on/near plants that we will be consuming. I also feel safe letting my kids use it. I’m not about pesticide use at all (we do our best to keep things as organic as possible). I recommend giving this product a try.

I had an infestation of aphids, thrips, and spirdermites for years that were causing plants to grow deformed, not grow at all, and leaves turn yellow and fall off. I've tried all sorts of products but some of them would damage delicate leaves. Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew is the first to kill them all without damaging plants. My plants are all starting to grow normally now! This concentrated version is economical. Just make a solution with water and apply with a spray bottle. Caution: spinosad is a neurotoxin and can harm humans and animals such as your cats, dogs, fish and shrimp. So be careful where this pesticide is applied so that your pets won't be exposed.
