I don't understand the negative reviews. The label is incredibly clear. Bored Cow contains an animal-free whey from fermentation. It's not suitable for people who react to whey. There are LOTS of non dairy options for milk for people who cannot tolerate whey. This is a great option for those who may have enjoyed using cow milk at some point but for ethical or environmental reasons want to decrease or discontinue their use of cow milk. It holds up well in every use I've tried it for so far - cereal, latte foam, ice cream maker, homemade "cream cheese." It has a good protein content and not many carbs, so good for my pre-diabetic family. The taste is pretty good. I'd recommend it.

My wife is an avid dairy drinker and has said “it’s fine but still tastes like plant milk. The creaminess of actual whole milk is absent but it’s fine. Would like to drink real milk if given the option but makes a fine shelf stable alternative.”

Not a plain milk drinker so won’t comment on that aspect of taste, but I’m very impressed with the quality of foam I’m able to get in my steamer for espresso drinks! Much finer texture and more stable than even the “barista” oat milks

This is so good and IS animal-free - it's the same as milk but made via fermentation vs through an animal. It tastes and acts just like the real thing and without a ton of antibiotics and pus from cows like regular animal milk. Highly recommend

It’s not vegan. It’s not animal free. This product contains whey which only comes from animal milk. I have an allergy to casein (protein in animal milk) and cannot have this product. Very misleading marketing.

I was so excited to see this at my local Target - I have tried every milk alternative under the sun and this is the first one that actually tastes and acts like milk! A game changer when it comes to baking and it froths perfectly for my daily at-home lattes. The best part is it is great for the enviroment & even better for cows!
