Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

I’m now the owner of a second pair of Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones - the first was returned the day after they arrived due to a hissing sound which set in after a few minutes. Already disappointed by the faulty pair, and Bose’s chosen courier which seemed intent on taking their time to return them, a call to Bose meant the replacement pair arrived sooner than they’d initially said they would and I have to say, they’re really good. I only have the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds to compare them to and whilst they’re also brilliant, the headphones are better still, being more comfortable over a few hours. The noise cancellation is superb and the modes offered can be set via the Bose app, or from one of two buttons on the right headphone. I’m not the most technical of people, so the simplicity of a mode button, a Bluetooth button, and a volume sensor which works by sliding your finger against it works for me. When I answered a phone call on them yesterday we could hear one another without any unwanted background noise, and I wandered around the house with my phone charging in a cradle several rooms away without the signal being interrupted (just remember to set the call auto answer function to off so it doesn’t automatically answer spam callers telling you about a crash you didn’t have). They fold away neatly into a smart case which has a pocket to stash away a connecting and a charging cable, and the charge holds for quite a while. After sending back the first pair I expected these to be just as poor and promised myself if I was sent a request to review them the bad pair would earn these just one star, but they’re not, they’re brilliant and I’m impressed with them. Five stars all round.

These pair of headphones are incredible. The controls are the best I've seen, the noise-cancelling is unrivalled, the sound quality is as good as a pair of noise-cancelling headphones can get. The sound stage and sound profile is, coming from an ex Sennheiser in-ear user, very wide and crystal clear. The track separation is INCREDIBLE. Listening to greatly mixed songs on this is a bliss. My only critisism would be the lack of base aptX codec. It has aptX adaptive and Qualcomm sound certification etc.. but Samsung phones only have base aptX for some reason, and these currently run on AAC on my phone. Bose, please fix!

I bought these headphones to accompany me on my summer airline flights. They perform beautifully & are a big success -- -- they are comfortable to wear, cut out exterior noise really well & cocoon me in gorgeous, rich sound from coast to coast! I Love my new headphones!!!

My third week nto my new BOSE QCU Headphones and so far they are working great.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra: A Mixed Bag of Premium Features and Peculiar Quirks My initial experience with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra was a bit of a letdown, particularly concerning audio quality when paired with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Despite significant tweaking, the sound didn't quite reach the level of clarity and richness I experienced when using the headphones with my MacBook M1 Max. This disparity is a crucial point for me, as I rely on my iPhone for portable audio. It's a shame that the iPhone's audio output doesn't seem to fully leverage the Ultra's capabilities, especially since my music library is synced across both devices. Beyond the sound, a surprising and somewhat off-putting detail is the voice prompt that announces connected devices. I found its tone to be genuinely unpleasant and even a bit disturbing, detracting from an otherwise premium experience. On the positive side, Bose has truly excelled in comfort and design. The QuietComfort Ultra headphones are remarkably lightweight and incredibly comfortable, making them ideal for extended listening sessions. This is a significant advantage, particularly for travel or long commutes. However, the physical build quality feels somewhat underwhelming for a product in this price bracket. While I understand there's often a trade-off between weight and material robustness, I expected a more premium feel.

I am extremely happy with the capabilities of this headset. The bass and treble are concert hall perfection. And they truly cancel outside noise.

This is the 4th pr I've owned and haven't been able to use them as I still can't get them to sync to my Iphone.

I bought this activity few weeks ago and I have to say these are so much better than the xm5s they are so much more comfortable aswell these are my favorites out of all the ones I've tried

I recently purchased the QuietComfort Ultra headphones, and as expected, they sound exceptionally well. Although I adjusted the equalizer settings to my liking, out of the box configuration is already good. The only issue I noticed is that I can’t turn off ANC. Otherwise, it’s really light and comfortable.

l am enjoying my headset for my music when l go for my walks. I wish you had more colors to choose from.

Stylish, and great sound!! The noise canceling isn't as good as i thought it would be. They get really hot & sweaty for the climate I'm in. Hopefully, Bose will offer replacement ear & head pads in the plum color.

These headphones are the best. Comfortable, long-lasting, and the sound is fantastic. I just love of all three ranges; low, middle, and high.

Ideal for listening to my music and podcasts while shutting out the other household noises. A relaxing experience as the noise cancellation is really effective and there is no escape of sound to annoy my husband when I’m watching Netflix in bed. Telephone calls are good and the mic picks up my voice well.
