I purchased this lamp for my client. I have an interior design business. the lamp looks great in her room, but the shade was badly damaged. the packaging was flimsy, certainly not robust enough to withstand the long distance it had to travel to get to me. When I reported it to Target, they said I have to return the original first and then they will send out a new one. This means my client will have to wait for us to ship it back and then for a new one to be sent out. I find this unacceptable, so in order to make my client happy, I'll have to buy a new one for her and deal with the broken one on my dime. I really hope the new one is not damaged.

It looks different from the sales pictures. The base and shade are flat. The entire lamp is warmer in color than the picture. The shade is a brown color when turned on. The base is not a cool gray but a greige or tan. The base has such a great texture that looks really nice in the room, adds interest without being too busy, and the height is perfect. I love that it’s flat for all the space it gives on a side table. I really wish it had a white shade. Looks better off than on.

It is a lightweight lamp and felt really plastic in texture. Be aware the lamp shade in not round, which was my mistake and did not read shade was oval. Shade is a very skinny Oval.
